How It All Began

My journey in the culinary world started when I was in high school, at a vocational school in Michigan. Through supervision and dedication of many fellow chefs I've honed my skills to be able to train great cooks, execute exceptional service and create wonderful meals and events. Charlotte has been the best playground for me to learn more about food. Southern culinary inspiration has deep rooted connection to the style of my cooking. I relocated to the south in 2008 with eyes wide open... The places I've served throughout my years here have ranged from fine dining to meal planning for youth and critics alike. Each of these experiences have molded me in to a creative, passionate culinarian.

About: About Me

The dinner last night was amazing!! Steve does such a great job planning meals to fit the theme of the event. His food was very unique and tasted so fresh. I loved the zucchini soup!! I would have never thought of that. Perfect for a summer night!! The chicken dish was to die for! Literally loved every dish and every bite. If you have not tried his food, you haven't lived.
Also, I'm obsessed with his meat sticks... just ask anyone.. they are bomb!

Every time I hear Chef Steve is catering I do my absolute best to ensure I am able to attend. Chef Steve never disappoints and is a genius when it comes to flavor balance. I have had dishes I would have never have considered and more common dishes with a brand new spin on them. All of them amazing! Would I recommend Chef Steve to others? Absolutely and without hesitation!
